Logo Application Processes Explained

Learn more about how logos are applied to the various products in our catalog. Each product description will indicate which application type is used on that particular garment.

Direct-to-Film Application (DTF)

Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing is a method where designs are printed onto a specialized film and then transferred onto fabric using heat and adhesive. Unlike Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing, which prints directly onto fabric, DTF allows for more versatility in material choices, including cotton, polyester, silk, and even leather. This application allows for high resolution designs that are very durable, withstanding numerous wash cycles.

Direct-to-Garment Application (DTG)

Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing is a method where designs are printed directly onto fabric using specialized inkjet technology. Unlike screen printing, which requires stencils and layers of ink, DTG prints high-resolution images directly onto garments, making it ideal for detailed and colorful designs. This application process only works well with fabrics that have a high cotton content.

Embroidery Application

Embroidery is a technique that decorates fabric by stitching thread or yarn into designs, logos, or patterns. It can be done by hand or machine, offering a durable and professional look for apparel and branding. It is not necessarily the best application for highly detailed logos that have numerous, thin details, lines, etc.
